Having a dodgy gut, I tend to stay away from gluten as much as possible, which can become difficult when it comes to breakfast. Cereal NO, Toast NO, (unless you wanna buy expensive gluten free products). With this in mind, and my healthy attitude towards food I’ve come up with some fantastic glutenfree and healthy breakfasts that anyone will enjoy.
Shashuka
Shashuka is a healthy and hearty breakfast dish which comes from the middle east and north Africa. Packed with spice and cumin, this dish is great as a late morning brunch. A simple combination of tomatoes spices, peppers and onions, along with gently poached eggs, its a must try breakfast to show off to friends.

Glutenfree banana pancakes
Who says pancakes cant be healthy?! This ridiculously easy two part pancake mix is so simple to make and a great way to use up old bananas. Not only are they better for you, they also keep you feeling full for hours.

Egg muffins
This breakfast treat is not only great straight out of the oven, but its also fantastic as a snack/ lunch on the go. A great way to use up your odd veg in the fridge, these muffins have unlimited variety of flavours you can have. A simple mix of egg, milk and ANYTHING you can get your hands on, these are one of my favourite on the go breakfasts.

Egg-celent baked eggs
Baked eggs are a different and fresh was of cooking eggs. By simply banging together anything you can from your fridge and baking your eggs over the top you can make a fresh tasting meal so easily. A lovely light version of an omelette.

Shaken, not scrambled, eggs
Scrambled eggs really do not have to be boring. Firstly ensuring your cooking scrambled eggs correctly is very important, no body likes a hard dried out egg. But master these and add some simple friend vegetables to your dish to make it a beautiful gluten free and filling breakfast. Follow my recipe and instructions on how to make the best and most interesting scrambled eggs.

You dont have to be gluten free to try any of these recipies. simply add your toast as normal and try these exciting new ways of making breakfast. Try them out and let me know how they taste.

My favorite eggs are a simple poach on a slice of toast. I think it brings back childhood memories. But my second favorite is definitely shakshouka!
